Save the Children has been operating in Lebanon since 1999 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC, Health and Nutrition, Food Security & Livelihood, Shelter, and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon.   Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar and Bekaa:   ROLE PURPOSE: Under the guidance of the H&N Coordinator and MEAL Officer, the Data Entry Clerk will ensure the efficient data entry and management, which is essential for the organized and monitored implementation of Shelter activities. KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities. Processes beneficiaries and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents for resolution. Enters beneficiaries and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information according to format. Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Verifies entered beneficiaries and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data. Secures archives of programme documents and information through filing system and database backups. Contributes to the timely submission of monthy reports through the efficient management of IPTT, morbidity surveillance and programme activity databases. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Maintains beneficiaries’ confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Comply with Save the Children policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
