Save the Children has been operating in Lebanon since 1999 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC, Health and Nutrition, Food Security & Livelihood, Shelter, and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon.   Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar and Bekaa: ROLE PURPOSE: The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling. KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:   Support to the Recruitment process: - Communicate with candidates and hiring manager regarding the recruitment process - Make sure Recruitment Planner is filled and signed - Provide advice and assistance to supervisors on staff recruitment - Schedule and organize interviews - Participate in applicant interviews - Prepare, develop and implement procedures and policies on staff recruitment - Undertake field visits, as necessary, to support on any recruitment needs - Conduct exit interviews     HRIS and other HR files: - Responsible for roll out of Effective Staff (HRIS) and ensuring it has accurate employee data and is     consistently updated with new employee details - Responsible for maintaining and updating all personnel files of the respective area(s) as per standard - Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place - Provide advice and assistance with writing job descriptions   HR Manual and Communication: - Send copies of all HR related letters and papers to respective persons on time - Ensure that all staff has a copy of policy handbook and understand all sections properly - Provide clarity on HR policy and procedures to staff as required     Payroll -  Maintains budget spread sheet that includes salaries, payroll taxes and fringe allowances. -  Make sure that leaves are updated on the system -  collects time sheets for line managers   QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:   Human Resources Management degree or equivalent Diploma or certificate course in HR or Personnel      Management is preferred. At least 2 years relevant working experience Good understanding on      HR administration related issues, basic on general HR management,      knowledge on office management and filing Excellent interpersonal communication skills, very accurate in      drafting, good in database information management, maintaining      confidentiality, documentation & filing skills Good communication (English & Arabic), Excellent time management skills Commitment to Save the Children values APPLICATION PROCESS   Please note that the closing date for applications is : For External applicants on June 30th.                    The selection committee will review all applications as they are received.
