Inclusion Officer - Zahle

The Opportunity

The Inclusion Officer is responsible for the implementation of all the activities related to the inclusion programme under the direct supervision of the Inclusion specialist. S/he will work to ensure the programme implementation is timely and of high technical quality, monitoring processes are in place, timely reporting occurs, the programme is continually assessed, and solutions quickly are in place should there be a change of context

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Special Education, Development/Humanitarian Studies, or Social Science, Diploma in Psychology  is a plus
  • At least two years of experience with children with disability, preferably in an (I) NGO environment or educational setting
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze a wide range of qualitative and quantitative data and to develop data bases and data collection tool
  • An understanding of child’s growth, development stages, and milestones
  • Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to plan strategically
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
