Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning Coordinator - Beirut

The Opportunity

The MEAL Coordinator will lead the implementation of Save the Children Lebanon’s MEAL plans in their Area Office. At Area Office level, S/He will have a leading role in the implementation of the standardized MEAL systems and processes. The coordinator works with the project teams for the implementation of projects’ baselines and end-lines, as well as the needed outcome level analysis and will document all project related evidence with technical guidance and direction from the head office. The MEAL Coordinator will work closely with the MEAL Department, to support accountability to children and communities.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • University Degree in Data Science, statistics, public health or equivalent
  • A high level of written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent inter-personal and team work skills
  • Proven experience of establishing coordination mechanism
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to use computer programs to collect, document and analyse data
  • Excellent presentation skills and use of Power Point
  • Strong analytical skills particularly in using statistical software such as STATA, SPSS and R
