Choir Assistant at Sawa for Development and Aid

Job Description:

-Assist the Choir Animator in their duties. (Check the animators duties below)

Animators duties:

- Develops clear and concise instructional lesson plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced program of preparation, instruction, and rehearsal time.

- Search and select the targeted participants.

-Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques

- Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing tuition, encouragement and constructive feedback

-Identifying strengths and weaknesses

-Instruct students in music applications, both theory and practice.

- Enables students to develop an appreciation of the art of music.

- Uses a variety of instructional techniques and musical repertoire appropriate for the ages and skill level of students.

- Organizes storage areas and controls the use of materials and equipment to prevent loss, abuse, injury, or security breech.

- Assigns duties to choral assistants as necessary.

-The animator will take a training on the activities they should apply based on the manual that Sawa provides.

 

Qualifications/Requirements, Knowledge and Experience for the Choir assistant:

- University degree in related field.
-Minimum 2 years of work in relevant field.
-Communication skills
-Team working skills
-Ability to adapt to new environments and be flexible given the nature of the work ( i.e. constant changes happening on the ground, movement of the refugees…)
