Development And Livelihood Projects Coordinator

 Position Description: Development and Livelihood projects coordinator in SDAID is responsible of coordinating all projects related to skills and knowledge development for Syrian women and youth. Those include also projects that relate to the creation of new livelihood opportunity for Syrian women and youth in order to empower them, by providing them with needed tools, skills, and psychosocial support.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Manage and coordinate current projects. Coordinate and implement pre/post field assessments and focus groups for new and current projects. Insure right implementation of the spending plan and the work plan of each project. Responsible for daily follow up with the projects beneficiaries and field officers. Suggest new ideas and create concept notes for new related projects. Update other departments with projects activities and share work progress with them through team meetings. Prepare monthly budget for the department (with the help of Finance Dep.) Provide the Programs manager with needed input for Donors reports. Meet donors and researchers interested in Development and livelihood projects. Do field visits when needed to ensure the quality of work and to do the needed follow up for the projects. Attend official meetings and workshops related to Development and Livelihood sectors. Competencies & Skills: Knowledge and experience in handling project designing, coordinating and implementing professionally. Good knowledge and experience in the development and livelihoods sectors' projects, especially with the Syrian refugees in vulnerable areas in Lebanon. Previous experience in working within NGOs systems. Previous experience in dealing with women and youth empowerment projects. Ability to work under pressure within the office and in the field. Ability to work independently as well in a team. Problem solving skills. Being accustomed to a multi-cultural working environment. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Work experience in the Syrian response in Lebanon Work experience with NGOs or international organizations is preferable.   About SAWA: SAWA for Development and Aid is a Not for Profit Organization working to help the Syrian refugees and host communities in Lebanon.
