Responsibilities:
The teacher will work under the supervision of the School Principal. Main responsibilities are:
1-To teach Math in English to groups of students from all abilities across years 6 – 12.
2. To ensure that all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives.
3.To develop English lesson plans in line with the Curriculum.
4.To prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
5.To take into account the differing ability lessons of students and differentiate work accordingly.
6. To encourage all students to be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their progress against targets.
7.To Record and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.
8. Use learning activities that develop students' higher thinking skills and encourage critical thinking and creativity.
9. Classroom management.
Other Duties:
1.To deal with inappropriate behavior quickly and effectively according to the school behaviorpolicy.
2. To ensure that all students are known by name and that the classroom atmosphere is positiveat all times.
3.To keep work areas tidy and well organized.
4.To attend scheduled meetings in the school.
5.To work with colleagues in the school for the aim of advancing the ability of students.
6.To help develop Math's resources for the school.
7.To attend workshops and training whenever the school asks for, and to apply the skills learned in the classrooms under the supervision of the Principal.
8. To participate in appropriate meetings with colleagues and parents.
9. To carry out any other duties which may be reasonably required by the Supervisors.
10. Follow the safety measures at the school.
