Job Overview/Summary
Based on the principles of human rights and child right SAWA group targets children, youth and parents with cultural, social, educational and environmental objectives. Allowing children to live in protect and peaceful family environment.
SAWA is seeking a Human Resources to supports the operations of the organization by providing an effective and professional HR service covering the full generalist remit: organizational structure, employment, compensation, employee database maintenance, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, orientation/training/development, and policy/procedure development, retention and succession planning.
Job Purpose:
The Human Resources Manager assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.
List of responsibilities and duties:
- Maintain a strong environment of ethics and uphold SAWA’s code of conduct.
- Adhere to SAWA’s conflict of interest and anti-fraud policy.
- Adhere to SAWA’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant
- Monitor compliance with the local labor rules and regulations.
- Review the payroll sheet prepared by the HR officer.
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and to deadline
- Review and approve performance appraisals.
- Review, analyze and approve warnings/terminations in coordination with the Programs Manager.
- Ensure all job descriptions are kept up to date, and create new JDs when necessary
- Approve and maintain SAWA’s training policy.
- Review and Approve background checks.
- Responsible for managing SAWA’s personnel files
- Review and approve timesheets and fingerprint data.
- Develop and implement HR strategy in line with the organization strategy
- Work closely with top management to identify high potential employees, and develop career programs for those important to the growth of the organization
- Manage human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff
- Ensure all staff receive a yearly performance appraisal in accordance with organization procedure
- Carry out necessary backup.
Required Personal Qualities/Skills:
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power Point, Internet and Outlook)
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
- Solid reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organized and strong attention to details
- Keen on Meeting Deadlines
- Strong Presentation Skills
Experience required:
- +4 years of experience in HR management
- Experience at an NGO is desirable
• HR certificates are highly preferable
