IT and Hosting Consultant

Job Title: IT and Hosting Consultant                                                          Duty Station: Beqaa

Reports to: Project Manager, Team Leader                                                Position Type: Consultancy

The experienced IT and Hosting Consultant will support the existing professional IT team to install and manage the host systems. She/He will be responsible for designing hardware configurations, installing software, managing network systems, and training staff on correct operating procedures. In addition, the IT and Hosting Consultant will work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve our experience.

The IT and Hosting Consultant should have extensive experience maintaining large-scale host systems, the ability to project manage, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, she/he can design and maintain a dynamic and stable system to perfectly meet the bandwidth and traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake an assessment of the current IT system and a gap analysis for the implementation of the RDMS system. Provide a list of hardware and software requirements for the development and installation of the needed hosting
• Supervise the development of the system and mobile application, to ensure adherence to requirements and specifications. Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of the completed RDMS System and performance of the user interface.
• Develop an operation and user-maintenance manual and train the staff for the overall system.
• Meeting with the project team to discuss the needed requirements.
• Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.
• Installing software and networking systems.
• Troubleshooting network and software issues.
• Installing high-level software security systems.
• Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
• Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Responding to general IT requests.
• Manage the hosting, firewall and server security

• At least three 7 years of proven work experience as an IT and Host Manager in a complex quick-changing context.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Intensive Teamwork skills with an Essential problem-solving attitude.
• Master degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
• Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, programming languages, and Office software.
• Familiarity with Linux servers, CPanel and WHM
• Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
• Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
