Meal (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, And Learning) Officer

Job Purpose: The MEAL Officer is part of SAWA Group and will be based in Baalbeck. The MEAL Officer will spend around 40% of his/her time in the field and will carry out the project’s MEAL plan activities.   Job Description: -Support program leadership in proposal development -Work with operational teams on development and follow up of specific MEAL tools -Coordinate with partner organizations the different processes of data collection including surveys, focus group discussions, and informant interviews -Ensure quality data collection from the field -Compile and manage program and MEAL-related data -Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and draft reports presenting the results -Prepare monitoring and evaluation reports as requested by Program Manager -Internally report on activities as requested by Program Manager - Receive complaints and feedback from beneficiaries and analyse trends, working with SAWA staff to improve program quality -Deliver any other responsibility assigned by Project Manager   Required Personal Qualities/Skills: -Minimum of one year of relevant work experience -Bachelor’s degree -Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively with others -Ability to systematically gather, analyze, and present data - Focus on results: set goals, plans, and monitor quality and progress of projects -Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -Proven communication skills in written and spoken English and Arabic
