Sawa is looking for an experienced warehouse officer to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse officer's responsibilities include coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.
To be successful as a warehouse officer you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding warehouse officer should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES, MAIN DUTIES AND REPORTING- Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments.
- Deliver any other responsibility assigned by Logistic Manager.
Completion of secondary school education. A university degree in the related field (i.e., Business, is a plus).
Minimum of 1-year experience in logistic department preferably in NGOs and very good knowledge of excel.
Previous experience as a warehouse officer or a similar management position.
Experience analyzing data (on commodities, funds, etc.) and drafting reports.
Experience in measuring service providers’ performance against set KPIs.
