Water Quality Assistant (Lab)

SUMMARY

Collect samples of water from the field to the laboratory, communicate with the refugees to inform them of the results of their tests given by the Water Quality Expert. Report and inform the water quality expert of all possible events or problems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Collect samples of water from the field at different levels: water sources, household level and water truckers if needed.
• The samples of water should be tacked from the tap of a tank (for drinking water), and from the pump of borehole directly, in order to prevent the external contamination.
• Collect 12 samples per day at least in order to achieve the target.
• Communicate with the refugees in order to inform them of the results of their tests given by the water quality expert.
• Engage in teamwork and exchange ideas to achieve the mission.
• Fill out a daily report on the IS’s or water sources visited and submit it to the water quality expert.
• Prepare a daily report on the results of communication with refugees and present it to the water quality expert.
• Other duties may be requested.

• Arabic, English languages: very good.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Chemistry, or related field of study. One year at least of relevant work experience.

EMPLOYEMENT CONDITIONS

Contract duration: 12 months full-time with possibility to renew;
