Project Summary: Aswat Faeela (Active Voices)
Search for Common Ground (SFCG) is implementing the Aswat Faeela (Active Voices) project focusing on youth development; funded by the European Commission, and led by the British Council. It aims at developing the capacity of youth through practical learning and providing them with opportunities to be heard on national and international levels about pressing topics such as conflict transformation and community resilience.
Scope of Work
SFCG is seeking to recruit a Consultant to produce a series of short animation-videos supporting our advocacy strategy to raise awareness about the importance of volunteering, particularly highlighting the 8924/2012 law issued by the Ministry of Education. We are seeking three animation videos.
Your Contribution
The roles and responsibilities include:
General:
● Develop a creative animated concept tackling the importance of volunteering and 8924/2012 law.
● Meet with Search when necessary to finalise the concept, brief, and coordination of the final outputs
● Comply with Search (and its donors) design guidelines, operational, and financial procedures
Videos:
● Produce 3 to 4 short (1 minute) animated videos; 2D or 3D in Arabic
● The main language of the videos is spoken Arabic with English subtitles
Info-graphs:
● Based on the above concept and the videos, produce 3 to 4 static info-graphs for online and social media use
Qualifications:
● Creative individual sensitized towards social and development causes in Lebanon
● Advanced and proven technical skills in animation videos 2D/3D and sketching/drawing
● Graphic design and video-editing (post-production)
● Able to work in Arabic and English
● Ethical professional with due diligence given to the sensitivity of project materials;
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
