Call for Psychotherapist(s)/Psychotherapy Firm for a Long-term Agreement

Position Summary

In the midst of the challenging and deteriorating situation in the country, and knowing its implications on the mental health of individuals, Search seeks to have a long term agreement with a professional, motivated, and well-experienced psychotherapist(s)/psychotherapy firm to provide Search’s staff with therapy sessions and counselling sessions upon their needs and requests.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Attend an introductory meeting with Search’s HR, Employee Engagement Champion and the Psychosocial Support focal point;
  • Carry out assessment sessions for the staff, upon their request, and recommend a treatment plan;
  • Provide the requesting staff with therapy or counseling sessions tailored to their needs and cases

 

Required Profile for Psychotherapist(s)

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology;
  • An official certificate of completed clinical training/practicum in a university consisting of at least 100 hours of training under supervision by a scholar;
  • Lebanese colloquium certificate for clinical psychologists;
  • Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) License to practice clinical psychology profession in Lebanon

Experience:

  • Essential two years’ experience minimum as a Clinical Psychotherapist;
  • Ability to work with staff from diverse backgrounds;
  • Profound knowledge on gender sensitivity and gender related issues

 

Other relevant requirements:

  • Experience in online communication;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency in Arabic;
  • Strong knowledge of the Lebanese context

  • The technical proposal must include the proposed methodology, proposed team to work on the assignment (their bios, qualifications and experience) and experience doing similar assignments. The main proposal must not be more than 10 pages.
  • At least three reference letters from previous assignments successfully completed (to be added in the Cover Letter);
  • CVs of the consultancy team, copies of certifications and qualifications, and copies of previous work done must be submitted as annexes (to be uploaded in one pdf).
  • A financial proposal stating:
  • The price quotation of each item presented in the bid including total cost for deliverable, unit cost and number of units;
  • Validity of technical and financial proposal;
  • Proposed payment plan (currency, bank and payment terms);
  • Legal papers of registration (commercial, registration, tax documents) if applicable.
