Scope of Work
Search is looking for a camping agency/NGO to facilitate three nights and 4 days Camp and with a hike on the last day, for the Diwan project in Wadi Khaled, Lebanon.
The agency is expected to:
- Liaise with the youth group to agree on a date and time for the camp between 16 and 21st of September 2021
- Manage necessary security precautions and legal permissions for the camp and hike
- Create an agenda for the Camp and hike
- Organize activities for the duration of the camp
- Plan the route for the hike
- Effectively manage the group dynamics in a way that evokes inclusion and fun
- Write a report at the end of the camp and hike highlighting the number of participants, key outcomes, challenges, and lesson learnt
Qualification and Competencies
- Excellent camping and hiking experience
- Good knowledge of Wadi Khaled community
- Applicants must be confident, persuasive, and able to communicate very well in Arabic
- Good English language skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in working with youth from different cultural backgrounds;

- Technical proposal demonstrating understanding of requirements; detailing the proposed camping and hiking process, key materials and tools to be used, and including the sample agenda for such activity. This should not be more than 10 pages, excluding annexes.
- Financial proposal to include the cost to deliver the camp and the hike, including tents, mattresses, sleeping bags, food, water, juice, lighting, guide, and any additional costs. This should not be more than one page.
- CV(s) (to be consolidated in one pdf);
- At least three reference letters/notes from past/recent and similar work/assignments done (to be added in the cover letter).
