Printing Of Illustration Books

DESCRIPTION: Search for Common Ground (SFCG) is a non-governmental organization working to transform the way societies deal with conflicts. We have acquired over 30 years of experience in peacebuilding and are based in 53 local offices worldwide. SFCG first worked in Lebanon in 1996, and we opened up our office here in 2008. The issues we address are multiple, such as conflicts arising within Lebanon's diverse society, tensions resulting from the increasing influx of Syrian refugees, security sector reform, as well as women’s socio-economic empowerment. In each project we seek to engage all stakeholders and strengthen local capacities in order to create sustainable change and increase social cohesion. The pages will be full colour. The print run is for one of our projects which uses the arts to break down prejudices between Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian youth. The Project is now reaching the end and it is time to start showing what the youth have achieved. One of the elements of the project consisted of the youth painting their own stories and this is a call out to printers/publishers to issue a quotation in respect of the books. The book will comprise of 36 drawings, each drawing will be spread over two pages. The paper on which the paintings will be printed should be 350 gramme glossy. The cover of the book will be hard cover and the pages will be glued together to create a proper book. We are looking for a quotation for 800 and 1000 books.
