Position Summary
The Logistics and Procurement Assistant will support the Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to set up the systems within the office according to SFCG standards to support all aspects of program / project implementation as well as for ensuring compliance of all processes with both SFCG and donors’ regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Comply with Search values, procurement policies and procedures, including the thresholds and procedures for each market.
- Launch & Receive Procurement Requests (PR) according to the office and projects’ requirements.
- Ensure the relevant signatures, authorizations and approvals are obtained according to the threshold amounts; request technical specifications when needed.
- Update the information about all procurements on the Purchase Request Tracking Sheet (PRTS)
- Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and obtain the relevant approvals as required by the threshold amounts. Ensure the proper documents in place and compliant before submitting the payment to the finance department.
- Update the Long-term agreement Follow Up sheet and request for launching new process when needed.
- Ensure the proper Fleet management for the office vehicles and monitor fuel consumption.
- Report any evidence of fraud, waste, abuse or any illegal or suspicious activity with any supplier, vendor, contractor, or anyone part of the procurement process within or outside of Search.
- Manage equipment according to internal and donors’ guidelines
- Ensure an optimal state, proper maintenance and repair for Search equipment (computers, printers, photocopy machines etc.).
- Tag and label all equipment to ensure proper tracking and storage.
- Manage and control the stock of office stationery and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure that all supporting documentation, regarding procurement, asset/equipment and fleet management is prepared and filed according to Search and donor regulations and procedures
- Maintain the archiving system to keep record (scanned copy) of all the logistics transactions ensure regular update.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business field, Masters or any related Certificate is a plus
- Dynamic team player with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations
- Creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.
- Minimum of one year of related work experience;
- Strong oral and written communications skills;
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic
- Strong leadership, management skills, Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail
