Summary of Position
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the implementation of a nine month project whose goal is to promote women’s participation in politics through television drama. The Project Coordinator will work closely with local TV stations, local partner organizations and other relevant stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will oversee day-to-day operations and implement the project’s activities, ensuring that the program is on-time, within budget, and delivers high-quality results. This includes providing a regular presence with stakeholders and networking contacts with international and local agencies as well as different relevant stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing Search staff and resources devoted to this project in conformity with Lebanese law and Search’s internal operating practices.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain proactive, positive and professional relationships with partner organizations, other NGOs, donors, politicians, key government officials, civil society groups, religious groups, and media outlets within Lebanon;
Identify and maintain relations with local organisations and local media outlets to ensure sustainability of the action;
Implement project activities in a timely manner ensuring good quality action and credible outcomes;
Implement the financial and administrative systems necessary for the execution of the project;
Maintain regular written and oral reporting with the Projects Manager and Search’s management team;
Maintain responsible media coverage of program events in coordination with the Communications Officer;
Develop regular reports on project activities and finances;
Ensure compliance with Search Operations Manual policies and procedures;
Oversee the management and reporting on project activities, ensuring timely grant reporting and compliance with contract and donor guidelines in coordination with the local partners;
Ensure necessary prior arrangements are made for training activities; and
Develop and maintain project records such as databases, reports and records of decisions.

Requirements and Qualifications
Lebanese citizen
Experience in gender and/or women’s empowerment..
Familiarity with the practice of gender and peacebuilding.
Familiarity with principles of monitoring and evaluation.
Calm and well-mannered under pressure.
Focused on results and meeting deadlinest
Skills
Proven ability to negotiate multiple relationships with various partners;
Demonstrated financial management and program administration experience;
Dynamic leader with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations;
Experience working with gender issues and women’s empowerment;
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic;
Strong oral and written communications skills;
Demonstrated writing and grants management skills;
Gender and cultural sensitivity and adaptability;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel;
