Psychosocial Support Trainer

We are searching for…

A consultant to provide a two days training for Aswat Faeela's participants related to PSS. The training will be taking place in Beirut or Broumana on the 24th and 25th of March 2018.

Your contribution

The roles and responsibilities include:

1)      Design and lead a two days training in Arabic to provide the participants with the following:

§  A definition of psychological support, showing how community builders can provide support to their       communities.

§  How to cope with stress and deal with vicarious trauma, to take care of themselves first, to be able to       provide quality care to affected people.

§  Work with the participants on how promote community self-help and to engage communities in their       own recovery process.

2)      Use a highly interactive training methodology in order to emphasize the ideas of the training and assures a wide involvement from the trainees

You meet the following qualifications:

·         Experience in providing trainings on psychosocial support, conflict transformation and peace building;

·         Strong communication and training facilitation skills;

·         Willingness and ability to be flexible;

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

·         Very good computer skills including knowledge of Office Package, Email packages, etc.;
