With headquarters in Washington, DC and Brussels, Belgium, we implement projects from 55 offices in 34 countries, including in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. You will be joining other highly motivated Searchers with a good team spirit and through commitment and dedication, have opportunities to grow.   We are searching for… A videographer for the project entitled “Jalse” funded by UN Lebanon Humanitarian Fund.  The - social stability project is implemented by Search for Common Ground, in partnership with Himaya, Sada El Bekaa, and Al Hadatha organizations in Lebanon. The Videographer will be responsible for shooting, editing, and subtitling 3 videos, aimed at highlighting Jalse’s contribution in establishing local conflict response mechanisms and initiating dialogue between stakeholders to address tensions between and within communities. The overarching idea behind the project is to mitigate tensions between host communities and refugees through social stability actions. The length of each of the three videos should be around 3 to 5 min showing the different initiatives design and implementation. The videographer will work closely with the Communications Officer to ensure that the videosare on-time, within budget, and deliver high-quality results. This includes planning, periodic meetings, and sharing the raw footage with the Communications Officer. Your contribution Under the coordination of the communication department, he/she will be responsible to: Work with the project’s team to identify “visual” people centered stories and ensure participants and communities buy-in Work with the Project Coordinator to plan the shooting of the activities organized by Jalse Shoot the activities and participants’ stories using the best equipment possible Work with the Content Writer to form an interesting unique storyboard to highlight the change that impacted the participants and community through their engagement in the project Edit the videos, highlighting the stories of the participants as a way to highlight project’s impact and relevance. Ensure timely shooting, editing, and delivery of the videos by coordinating with communication department Provide insights on the best practices in videography Use an ethical, context and conflict sensitive approach when dealing with the participants and their communities You are… You meet the following qualifications: 3 to 5 years’ experience in video production University degree or at least 3 years of relevant field experience in a similar position. Proficiency in English and Arabic both oral and written   Skills Excellent proven shooting and editing skills; Experience in shooting with various camera and sound equipment; Experience in working with local and international organizations in various environments; Experience in developing and realizing video content about social change; Very good capacity in problem solving; Strong communication skills; Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment Good analytical skills Willingness and ability to be flexible; Rigorous, precise and polite; Excellent inter personnel skills and team spirit;
