Videographer – Short Term Consultancy

About the Project: FURSA – Regional Consortium:

This project aims at strengthening the prospects of youth in refugee and host communities for social and economic inclusion in Lebanon and Iraq.

Videographer Consultancy:

We’re looking for a videographer to design a research publication for Search for Common Ground in the framework of the Peace Pioneers project. 

Requirements and Specifications:

Assist Search’s team in developing a theme/ creative idea for a film

Produce a short compilation film (between 5 to 7 minutes) covering the implementation of the Frusa Consortium activities in Kurdistan/Iraq

Collaborate with implementing partners on field to identify participants for interviews and quotations

Must be available to meet with Search’s team in Lebanon for briefing and other administrational procedures

Must be able to travel to Kurdistan/Iraq

Must be able to budget for and procure the needed equipment

Post-production, editing, and subtitling of the film  

Implement and abide by Search and its donors design guidelines and procedures

Deliver an optimized version of the video for social media use, a HD version, and the editing files to Search upon the closure of this consultancy

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience
• Able to travel to Kurdistan/Iraq
• Creative and has an eye for details
• Proficient in Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
• Familiarity with rules and regulations of international donors and applying guidelines is an advantage
• Experience in working NGOs and INGOs is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic.
