Purpose of the Event
The purpose of the community event is to create a safe, engaging, and educational space for children and families through interactive stations that combine fun and learning. Each station will offer age-appropriate and inclusive activities designed to promote creativity, teamwork, emotional expression, and psychosocial resilience.
Objectives
- Provide children with structured, recreational, and educational activities that promote psychosocial wellbeing.
- Strengthen family and community bonds through joint engagement in positive activities.
- Raise awareness on child protection, mental health, and positive parenting in an interactive and creative way.
- Offer a platform for service providers and partners to showcase their contributions to child wellbeing.
Scope of Work
The selected service provider(s) will be responsible for designing, organizing, and implementing one community event per area (one in Beirut and one in Tripoli).
Activities should include:
- Activity Stations for Children:
At least 3 stations combining play and learning, which may include:- Arts & Crafts (creative self-expression)
- Sports and Movement (team-building, coordination)
- Drama or Storytelling (communication, empathy, social skills)
- Educational Games (child protection and child safeguarding awareness)
- Emotional Expression / Wellbeing Station (feelings games, positive affirmations)
- Event Setup & Logistics:
- Provide all materials and equipment for the stations.
- Ensure a child-friendly and safe setup.
- Manage registration, flow of activities, and coordination with SIF staff.
- Ensure inclusion of children of all backgrounds and abilities.
- Refreshments for the children might be provided by the supplier (not mandatory)
Deliverables
- Concept note and activity plan for both events (Beirut and Tripoli) including detailed description of each station.
- List of required materials and logistical needs.
- Staff and facilitator list (with background/experience in PSS or child-focused activities).
- Implementation of the event in both locations.
- Final summary report including photos (with consent), challenges, lessons learned, and participant feedback.
Duration
- One day event per each area
Requirements for the Service Provider
- Proven experience in organizing community or recreational events for children.
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection and psychosocial principles.
- Skilled facilitators capable of engaging children in safe, structured, and inclusive ways.
- Capacity to manage logistics, setup, and coordination in both Beirut and Tripoli.
- Ability to ensure gender balance, inclusivity, and safety in all activities.
- Abide by the code of conduct and CSP policy
Application Process

- Technical proposal including:
- Concept note and description of proposed stations and activities
- Implementation methodology and timeline
- Team composition and qualifications
- Financial proposal (including cost breakdown for both Beirut and Tripoli)
- Portfolio of previous relevant work or similar events conducted
