Psycho social Support Trainer

Under the technical supervision of the Child Protection Specialist, the PSS Trainer is responsible for training and briefing the frontline SIF staff and volunteers about PSS interventions in SIF Safe Centers, in order to create appropriate PSS/Child activities following  specific Curricula for all  SIF targets. Moreover s/he will be responsible in training on PSS/CP subjects whenever there is the need and to follow the training on the job in SIF areas of intervention.

• Prepare and Conduct Training for SIF frontline staff  and volunteers in what is related to the domain of working (PSS  topics, CP subjects topics etc.briefing on new SIF technical Curricula etc.)
• Together with Protection Technical Officer, support in designing  appropriate PSS/CP curricula for each target of SIF intervention, to be implemented in SIF Safe Centers (SSCs).
• Training on the Job frontline staff and Volunteers during PSS sessions with different targets.
• Conduct weekly meeting in SIF areas of intervention, in order to discuss feedback, case studies and following up technical aspects/achievements PSS with SIF frontline staff and volunteers.
• Contribute in the PSS sessions when it is required or in the case of shortage of Facilitators or volunteers.
• Ensure the correct use of technical tools and CP/PSS materials in the SSCs
• Any other relevant task as per request from his/her line manager.

RENSPONSABILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:

• Ensuring a regular supervision in the SSCs and other SIF areas of intervention.
• Ensuring regular technical reports (MoMs) to CPS after field visits
• Ensuring a regular briefing and training on the job regarding PSS/CP activities developed in SSCs and other SIF areas.
• Together with PSS Technical Officer, ensuring the quality of PSS items purchased in close coordination with the logistic department and your line manager
• Proposing changes, updates or new implementation of PSS/CP activities in the centers depending on the needs
• Attending the weekly PSS Technical meeting in Beirut with PSS technical officer and CP specialist.
• Work in harmony with different teams ensuring the development of all teams and the delivery of equal appropriate trainings.
• Together with PSS Technical Officer, support CPS in the  design of any new technical Curriculum.
