MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Provide social support to vulnerable children and their families
- Conduct community outreach and home visits
- Organize cards distribution when needed
- Conduct phone verifications of beneficiaries
- Work directly with the Project Manager and Field team to develop intervention plans and ensure follow up in the Child Safe Spaces and children’s houses.
- Identify new vulnerable children, women or families within the community to be assessed and included in the SIF program
- Collect information about visited vulnerable families through interviews, observation, and assessment carried out via outreach home visits
- Collect data and referrals from the field level (e.g. Municipalities, L/INGOs, Focal Points, UNHCR)
- Provide accurate referrals when need be (i.e., the Social Worker will refer cases to other local NGOs and through RIMS and will receive referral from others stakeholders)
- Complete intake assessments, evaluations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary
- Raise awareness on the services available in Mount Lebanon (provided by SIF and from other NGOs)
- Attend weekly or biweekly meetings in Beirut or in the field with the PM and Program Coordinator
- Represent SIF vis-à-vis local authorities, for all issues linked to the program in coordination with the PM and Program Coordinator
- Participate actively to program coordination and to relevant meetings on the topic;
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: Completion of secondary school education. An additional first University degree would be a plus[CPPM1] .
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in Child Protection, Child-focused programming and/or work with vulnerable children
- Languages: Intermediate level in both oral and written communication in English.
