Education vocational trainer

Trainer for a ‘Teaching assistant’ vocational training courses targeting the youth

Contract duration: 06/2020-07/2021 (10 man days)

Work place: Tripoli, Lebanon

Payment: according to budget rate

Work description:

• Provides vocational training on Education to 20 youth (16 – 26 years old) in Tripoli (at least 70 % female).
• Develops curriculum applicable to the target group in the timeframe given
• Evaluates performance of the target group in Teaching – at least through the preparation of a final evaluation and regular coordination with teachers that will supervise students continuous internships.
• Reports to the VTE manager and to protection team about any concerns referring to students.
• Supports the VTE manager in broadening the network of the organisation for internship quest purposes,
• Maintains the class equipment, and notifies the VTE manager for learning material supplies in a timely maneer

Required qualifications and skills:

• Graduate of higher education on Education, or other relevant degree
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience with classes of students ages 3 to 10 years old (minimum of 15 children per classes)
• At least 1 year of proven experience providing vocational training courses and working on youth programs.
• Fluency in Arabic language and good communicative, social skills especially when working with youth, English or French as an asset
• Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
• Can deliver within specific timeline and tight schedule
• Ability to teach online when needed.
