Trainer of vocational training course
for youth in Hotelier

Work description:
- Is an expert staff of project team responsible for providing professional educational program for vulnerable Lebanese youth and Syrian refugee youth (14 – 26 years old) in Tripoli. The courses are targeting unemployed young people (at least 40 % female) showing a high level of motivation.
- Based on the certified expertise, the trainer teaches the elementary knowledge and basic skills needed for the position of hotelier (manager, receptionist, waiter). The position involves teaching 8 hours a week on Friday, Saturday or both for a duration of 10 weeks. Classes will take place in the premises of the educational centre, and the equipment will be provided.
- Prepare teaching program/curricula and evaluation tools.
- Assess other needs for the youth.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Relevant technical degree , verification, certificate or licence for carrying out the craft
- At least 2 year experience in working with apprentices ideally as a part of vocational educational programs for youth
- Fluency in Arabic language and good communicative, social skills especially when working with youth, English is an asset
- Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
