Volunteer Media Assistant

Tasks:

- Documenting and capturing video and photography related to the organization’s projects and activities

-Conducting on camera interviews with direct and indirect beneficiaries

- Build and develop SEED’s portfolio

- Manage and update SEED’s website and social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)

- Write and develop questionnaires and interview content

- Comply with codes of conduct of each different project

- Format layout and create media for various project reports

- Create media and graphic elements promoting the organization’s various events

- Create and maintain networks with other NGOs and partners for media projects

- Assist with miscellaneous tasks around the organization

-Promote SEED’s work and image

Requirements:

            - Experience creating and editing media

            - Proficiency with video editing software

            - Ability to meet deadlines and take part in multiple projects

            - Possess necessary camera and sound equipment

            - Experience and ability to work with youth

            - Able to work independently and as a team leader

            - Strong motivation and self-engagement

            - Cultural sensitivity with regards to photographing and filming subjects

            - Flexibility and willingness to adapt to tasks and demands that may arise

            - Able to quickly learn in and adapt to different cultures

            - Bachelors degree in Media-related field

            - Interest in Humans Rights issues

            - Can support his/ her stay

            - Ability to communicate in English or French

            - Arabic is not required but a plus
