Purpose of the consultancy
SDA seeks a consultant / trainer to design and deliver training to trainers in Beirut and follow-ups at schools.
The training will consist of 3 cycles. Each cycle comprises 2 training sessions and 2 school visits.
Project Background Information
In 2017, Semeurs d'Avenir and its French partner Institut européen de cooperation et de développement (IECD) have developed a new and innovative maintenance curriculum (BT level), specifically tailored to the technologies currently used in the market, based on a study revealing a lack of skilled maintenance technicians, able to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and infrastructures.
The implementation of this curriculum in technical schools has been launched in October 2017 and relies on a competency based approach, to train future technicians to work in different environments: industries, construction, shopping malls, hospitals, hotels…
This project requires the training of teachers capable of delivering the mindset and the knowledge needed.
