Job Type: Trainer

Availability: AM Shift: from 9:00 am to 11:00 am or PM Shift: from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

         Two days per week.

IECD (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement) is an international solidarity non-governmental organization founded in 1988, operating in the field of social and economic development in partnership with local institutions. IECD’s main sectors of action are vocational training and professional integration, assistance to micro and small enterprises and access to education and health for the most vulnerable. In Lebanon, IECD has been operating since 1989, and has been leading projects throughout the whole country.

Semeurs d’Avenir (SDA) is a Lebanese association, created in 2010, registered under the number 1905. It is the operational partner of IECD in Lebanon.

IECD and Semeurs d’avenir are recruiting trainers for Janah project.

Janah is a socio-educative, extracurricular project of IECD (Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement) in Lebanon. Janah provides a safe, supportive, and dynamic environment where teenagers, attend 2 to 3 times a week, after school, for 2-hour sessions to gain essential skills that prepare them for a successful future.

Janah is currently looking for motivated and skilled Trainers to join their team and support youth development through engaging and practical sessions.

Our Activities Cover skills in:

• Basic English language
• Communication (verbal and written) and reasoning skills
• Basic computer use & digital literacy
• AI fundamentals
• Robotics
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Life skills & soft skills

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant expertise in the subject area.
• Proven experience in teaching or training is a plus.
• Passion for youth empowerment and education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
• Previous experience working with teenagers (ages 12–18) is a plus.
• Availability on weekdays, in the mornings from 9:00 to 11:00, or in the afternoons from 3:00  to 5:00 (2 to 3 days a week, depending on the schedule).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, interactive, and practical sessions.
• Prepare and deliver engaging session plans with diverse activities.
• Work under the supervision of the Education Coordinator and Project Manager.
• Report progress and challenges to the Education Coordinator and Project Manager.

Salary: $15 per hour (all inclusive)
