Along with its sister-NGO Institut Européen de Cooperation et de Développement (IECD), a team of thirty people runs about ten projects in the country.   Semeurs d’Avenir and IECD are looking for an accountant.   MISSION   1 / Accounting -                 Accounting entry and allocation -                 Preparation of payments -                 Filing and storage of documents -                 Bank reconciliations -                 Ensure the lettering of personal accounts in a regular basis -                 Enforce procurement procedures   2/ Reporting and audit -          Preparation of Government declarations : National Social Security Fund, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of the Interior. -          Support to the preparation of financial reviews and financial monitoring of the projects (extraction with the software SAGE) -          Support to the audit missions     EXPECTED PROFILE   Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in accounting management Experience: at least 2 years in accounting, experience in a small company or an NGO is an important asset Skills and qualities expected: -          Strong background in general and analytical accounting -          Excellent handle of double-entry bookkeeping system (command of SAGE software will be an asset) -          Excellent knowledge of Excel -          Fluency in Arabic and French or English (written and spoken). -          Ability to work independently, rigor, reactivity and confidentiality. -          Interest and motivation for global solidarity and development. -          Commitment to IECD values : a focus on the person, mindset of service, a professional commitment   CONDITIONS   Statut: employee contract, CNSS + insurance Start date: as soon as possible, minimum for one year Location: Beirut – Lebanon Under the supervision of Administrative and Accounting Manager, based in Beirut Close collaboration with the IECD Country Representative in Lebanon and Financial controller.
