Center Coordinator

CONTEXT L'Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement (IECD) is a French development organization operating in the field of international solidarity. It has been present in Lebanon since 1989. Today, IECD and its local partners implement several programs for professional integration support, access to education, support to small enterprises and health care projects.  MISSION Under the direct responsibility of the Education coordinator, the center coordinator will be in charge of Managing the social and school activities for the refugees enrolled in the center within the frame of Janah project. His/Her main tasks will be: - Mission 1: To guarantee the respect of missions and strategies of the programs hosted within Janah Center and the quality of the services provided, by: Assisting in recruiting the children and guarantying the stability of the number (renew monthly if needed) Ensuring that the presences/absences of children are noted everyday by the teachers, update the database. Ensuring that all rules of procedure are correctly implemented and that the rules of the center are understood and respected by the team and the children. Visit the classes on a daily basis to collect information to be given to the education coordinator in order to advice the teachers. Reporting to the education coordinator Managing and planning the distribution of the snacks to the children during the breaks. Supervise the making of the snack, the distribution and keep the list of things to buy up to date. - Mission 2: Team management To participate to the recruitment and integration of new team members To ensure that the team members execute the task asked in a timely manner. Ensuring good working conditions for the team workers (quiet, cleanliness, safety etc.) To follow up the team work: hours of work, presence, absences in collaboration with the Director of ITFL. Animating the team through weekly and monthly meetings To update daily the book that makes the link between the two center coordinators to ensure a good and transparent communication between the two shifts. To present a report on the performance of the team. - Mission 3: Ensuring good safety and maintenance of the building (in collaboration with the ITFL) Ensuring the safety and the maintenance of the building Ensuring the respect of the rules of safety by the volunteers, users and beneficiaries, and ensure that the children are treated with due respect. To Ensure good transportation condition for the children To ensure the commands and purchases of the materials needed.  NOTE: This position is only PARTIME in the mornings.
