CONTEXT The IECD is a French development organization operating in the field of international solidarity. It has been operating in Lebanon since 1989. Today, IECD and its local partners implement several Training and Professional Integration, Support to Small Enterprises and Access to Education and Health Care projects. The high rate of unemployment had previously led IECD and its partner, Foyer de la Providence, to intervene conjointly in the promotion, development and implementation of vocational education curricula in the industrial field. They developed as well a specialized school “Mosaik” targeting students with learning disabilities. The IECD in partnership with Foyer de la Providence is now launching a new project which overall objective is to gather companies, schools and youth in order to improve the youth employability, especially those most vulnerable, and to support companies' recruitment processes.
