Outreach and Placement Officer

GOAL

1. Find the targeted beneficiaries to participate in the short-term vocational training.
2. Help the beneficiaries find internships and jobs after finishing their courses.

Network

• Contact the key persons in the areas where there are possibilities to find the targeted profiles.
• Visit the public places where the targeted profiles are.
• Identify local partners that can help in the outreach process in the region

Follow up

• Fill up a sheet with the potential beneficiaries with their related contacts
• Contact them to come to the center and fill in the application
• Contact when it is time for the written and oral exams
• Followup with the beneficiaries after graduation

Trainer & Trainee

• Meet with the trainer during the training
• Motivate the trainees
• Establish a constructive relationship with the trainees

Entrepreneur

• Establish a network with the entrepreneurs
• Have a data file on each entrepreneur

Report

• Write a report after each outreach
• Write a monthly report to the project manager

Team

• Share information when it is related to the responsibility of one of the team members or team
• Help & support team members when needed
• Contribute in the preparations of the graduation ceremonies

WEEKLY OBJECTIVE: this is what is expected specifically from an outreach officer.

• Establish network of potential areas
• Follow up with the trainees before and during the training
• Meeting with the trainer & trainee during the training
• Attend the team meeting
• Send his/her weekly objective to the project manager every Friday
