Technical expert – Domestic electrical installation Construction Program – Creation of training modules

MISSION

In coordination with the project team, the experts’ mission would be to develop the training modules according to the following:

1/ General description of the occupation

• Description of the output expected from a competent worker (job holder),
• Description of the processes covered within the defined occupation.
• Description the competences required to be a competent worker.
• Description of the resources (tools, materials, equipment, documents…) required for the implementation of the processes

Deliverables:

• According to a given model, the output, different processes, competences and resources required for an occupation are given.

2/ Develop the content of a training module

For each competence unit develop the following:

• Detailed description of the tasks performed to acquire a competence.
• Detailed description of the tools, materials and consumables used.
• List of criteria to assess the work implemented by the worker.

Deliverables:

• For each competence unit, a detailed description of the tasks performed to acquire this competence is given. In addition to a detailed list of tools, materials and consumables used, provided with the assessment criteria of each unit.

PROFILE

The consultant can be a person, a company or a non-profit organisation, justifying the following criteria:

Education: Electrical Engineering degree.

Experience: at least 5 years in the construction sector.

• Strong on-site experience in the construction sector, in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of the sector of education and/or vocational training is a plus.

Skills:

• Good writing skills in English is a must,
• Good interpersonal communication skills, good representation of public and private partners,
• Fluency in Arabic and English are compulsory.
