Night Care Shelter Supervisor

SEF is a Lebanese non-profit organization that provides quality comprehensive services for children and their mothers suffering from domestic violence regardless of their social, religious, or political affiliation. SEF shelters, supports, and empowers children and their mothers, over a period of 2 years approximately by creating a supporting environment for growth and advocating for their rights while working towards their safe and sustainable reintegration in society.

Job Purpose

The night shift supervisor is expected to ensure appropriate case management of families residing at the shelter.

Required Skills

• Hold a technical or Bachelor Degree in SBS with 2 years experience in similar domain.
• Experience of working with GBV and/or CP cases is a plus.
• Excellent communication and Problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated good management skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and pay attention to details.
• Initiative-taking and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safety of the mothers and their children during  the night shift.
• Coordinate directly with the social worker to ensure best interest of all beneficiaries.
• Help in the logistical preparations of activities taking place at night.
• Fill in the daily observation sheet and share information with team.
• Participate in team meetings.
