Consultant To Write Research Paper About Employment And Opportunity In Lebanon

Call for researcher / labour specialist for short-term assignment   Sharq.Org is producing a collection of personal narratives based on interviews with Palestinians and Lebanese in Lebanon about their livelihoods. The collection aims to explore the challenges and opportunities faces by both communities.   As such, Sharq is seeking to hire a consultant with strong research skills and fluency in English to produce a research paper that presents and discusses relevant issues that impact the ability of members of these communities to find work and create livlihoods. Previous experience related to labour rights or employment is a plus.   The paper will consider the educational, financial and legal barriers and opportunities and propose topics or questions to be addressed or queried during the interviews.   The consultant will work remotely to produce the report but will be expected to engage the Sharq support team - possibly working with them occassionally out of our office in Jnah - during the course of the consultancy.
