Transcriber – English and/or Arabic

We need an individual or team to transcribe approx. 50 hours of audio recorded interviews.

Approx 40 hours will be in Arabic (Syrian dialect) and will need to be transcribed to modern standard Arabic.

Approx 10 hours will be in English.

We are accepting applicants for either Arabic or English or for both if qualified.

All the work will need to be completed over one month, so applicants will need to ensure they have the time and/or assistance required to complete the work within 30 days.

Qualifications:

• University degree
• Experience transcribing an asset
• Experience working for NGO an asset
• Good time management essential
