In light of the tensions in Southern Lebanon and the potential for escalating armed conflict, SHEILD is focusing on preparedness measures to ensure a swift response to emerging needs. The initial emergency response will involve collaborating with community-based kitchens to prepare ready-to-eat meals and distributing these meals to internally displaced populations (IDPs) staying in public shelters across all governorates of Lebanon.
