Business Development Expert

Job Description

1. Assist and support in creating necessary assessments and surveys tools for the program
2. Assist and support in identifying SMEs, cooperatives, and small-scale farmers for enrollment in training, coaching, and granting program with UNDP
3. Conduct business trainings and coaching for SMEs, cooperatives, and small-scale farmers enrolled in the program
4. Support SMEs, cooperatives, and small-scale farmers enrolled in the program with creating business plans and follow up on implementation of the plans
5. Monitor and advise on the granting scheme for the SMEs, cooperatives, and small-scale farmers and its implementation
6. Produce monthly reports on the progress of the process including statistics, data, and analysis of the impact where possible
7. Any other task relevant to the program requested by the management

Job Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in business, economic development, or any related field.
2. 3 years’ experience in providing business training, coaching and support for SMEs, cooperatives, and small-scale farmers
3. Expert in creating business plans for different business sectors and levels and following
4. Fluent in English writing and speaking
5. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office)
6. Able to work in the south of Lebanon and have sufficient knowledge on the business and agricultural context of the region
7. Experience in working with UNDP is preferable
