Provide appropriate and timely case management by assessing the needs of individuals with protection concerns, developing and implementing tailored case plans based on needs and ensuring appropriate follow-up while creating a climate of trust and care.

 

Job Description:

  • Ensure referrals to specialized multi-sectoral services to most vulnerable adolescents and their female and male caregivers.
  • Provide age- and gender-appropriate awareness-raising key messages on critical SGBV and CP risks, SRHR, available services and gender equality & inclusion, provided to vulnerable adolescent girls and boys.
  • Provide awareness sessions on critical SGBV and CP risks, SRHR, available services and gender equality & inclusion to targeted parents and caregivers, including male caregivers.
  • Refer beneficiaries to appropriate services and when necessary, accompany them to different service providers if need be
  • Provide continuous basic emotional support and counselling through regular follow-up meetings, establishing a relationship built on trust respecting confidentiality protocols
  • Document cases on the internal case management platform and ensure that any progress on action plan and any significant change in client’s psychosocial well-being and overall situation is timely and duly recorded
  • Conduct and document in accordance with internal guidelines and procedures assessments of protection cases
  • Ensure proper and safe filing and archiving of case management files to maintain data confidentiality and in line with data protection protocols
  • Close cases when objectives in the case plan are met and no further needs are identified
  • Manage and document under the supervision of the Senior Management Supervisor
  • Support in the monitoring and evaluation process to assess the outcome and impact of case management interventions
  • Participate in internal case management meetings and bring to immediate attention any case of special/emergency needs to the Senior Management Supervisor
  • Carry out all tasks respecting key protection principles, including but not limited to: do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality, accountability and need-to-know principles

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, social work or other social science degree;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in case management in Lebanon within emergency response.
  • Good understanding of the local context and social welfare and legal system for child protection services in Lebanon;
  • Previous experience working with children/refuges/vulnerable populations.
  • Proven experience engaging with different target groups from all backgrounds (children, families, local and international organization, government, etc.);
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of adolescents at all times;
  • Ability to provide technical support, trainings and supervision of CP case workers;
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility;
  • Flexibility in working overtime when needed;
  • Teamwork
  • English and Arabic (written, read and spoken - not mandatory)
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Clean criminal record is a MUST
  • Availability of own car
  • Vaccination of COVID -19 is a MUST
