Facilitator (Consultancy Assignment)

Job Description:

Session Facilitation: Lead 5 in-class training sessions, ensuring synchronization with online expert trainers. Facilitate a dynamic and interactive learning experience for participants in a classroom setting while integrating virtual inputs smoothly.

Evaluation and Feedback: Implement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the hybrid training approach and collect feedback from both in-class participants and online trainers.

Action plan documentation: together with the group/organization representatives convert the assignments and the activities in (draft) action plans for the respective organizations attending the session to be used for organizational and institutional enhancement in the field of ‘Quality and Assurance’ and ‘Monitoring and Evaluation’.

Reporting: Provide detailed reports on training activities, highlighting the interaction between in-class and online components, and evaluate participant outcomes.

Consultancy Days Needed: 5 Days

Consultancy Day “Dates”: Between September 16th, 2024 and September 27th, 2024

Consultancy Hours: 64 Hours

Payment Schedule:  The consultant will be paid upon presentation of invoice and timesheet prepared for the purpose.  The consultant will be eligible for payment after undertaking each output outlined above and after fulfilling the deliverables in each output. Term of payment is within two months of receiving the ‘Payment order for work performed’.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. An advanced degree or certification in training, adult education, or a related area is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years in training facilitation, including experience managing hybrid (in-class and online) training environments.

Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills across both physical and digital mediums.

strong organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing simultaneous in-class and online activities.

Proficiency in digital communication and training platforms.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to engage a hybrid audience effectively.

Adaptive and innovative, with a strong capability to troubleshoot and solve problems in real time.

Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively bridging in-class and online participants
