Objective
To provide educational support services for students in an after-school academic program, assist with lesson completion, and deliver individualized educational programs—particularly for students with special needs—to foster academic growth and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in Grades 1 to 9 in completing their school assignments and planners.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on students’ academic levels and learning styles.
- Set and monitor clear educational objectives for individual students or groups.
- Administer diagnostic assessments, pre-tests, and post-tests; correct and evaluate student work.
- Collaborate with the Educational Coordinator to maintain and improve teaching quality.
- Apply differentiated instruction techniques to address varied learning needs and abilities.
- Promote a positive and collaborative environment with students, educators, and the Center Coordinator.
- Track and document student progress through ongoing assessments and learning tools.
- Prepare and submit regular academic progress reports for each student.
- Create and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional academic support.
- Conduct specialized programs for students with special educational needs.
- Maintain open communication with parents, updating them on progress and aligning on educational goals.
- Lead psychosocial support sessions to nurture students' emotional and mental well-being.
- Uphold classroom discipline and manage student behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with school-aged children in an educational or psychosocial setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction and inclusive education practices.
- Must reside in or near Chehabieh village, South Lebanon.
- Must have access to a personal car for transportation.
