Psychologist (South Lebanon)

Job Description

• Provide guidance and work closely with the social workers (CM/PSS) to enhance the mental health of the beneficiaries under counselling and/or treatment, as well as those benefiting from psychosocial support by social workers
• Provide individual counselling;
• Refer cases to prison authorities that requires a transfer;
• Protection monitoring (identified violations)  documenting and referring situations of concerns to social workers for reporting;
• Provide other activities as deem fit;

Qualifications

• Ability to provide structured clinical assessments and clear action plan
• Ability to recognize mental health priority conditions as per the mhGAP
• Demonstrating a high level of cultural sensitivity, professionalism, politeness and objectivity when dealing with the beneficiaries under all circumstances.
