Social Worker / Protection Focal Point (Saida and Neighboring Areas)

Job Description

• Detecting protection cases
• Organizing referrals and follow-up cases.
• Case management
• Experience in GBV, SGBV, PSEA
• Provide Psycho Social Support PSS
• The social worker will assist the center coordinator and the program manager in developing full understanding of the protection concerns and needs
• Preparing regular reports: Monthly reports on activities, Monthly information sheet and other reports assigned by the center’s coordinator.
• Summarizing each implemented activity once achieved.
• Attending and actively participating in weekly staff meeting.
• Participating in workshops and coordination meetings intended to improve professional knowledge and skills relevant to assigned responsibilities. 
• Assisting the center coordinator in planning, monitoring, evaluating and following up on all activities of the center
• Mobilizing community support and participation in the various community-based activities.
• Performing other duties as may be assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, Sociology or any other related field
• Two to three years of experience
• English and Arabic language skills are a must
• Experience in Microsoft office is a must
• A clean Criminal Record Statement is a must
