Social Worker - Saida South Lebanon

Job Description:

• Identifying instances of protection concerns

• Arranging referrals and monitoring follow-up cases

• Managing cases effectively

• Specialized experience in Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA)

• Conducting Psycho-Social Support (PSS) sessions

• Collaborating with the project coordinator to gain a comprehensive understanding of protection issues and requirements

• Compiling regular reports, including monthly activity reports, monthly information sheets, and any other reports designated by the center's coordinator

• Summarizing the outcomes of each completed activity

• Actively participating in weekly staff meetings

• Engaging in workshops and coordination meetings aimed at enhancing professional knowledge and skills related to assigned duties

• Assisting the center coordinator in the planning, monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up of all center activities

• Mobilizing community support and involvement in various community-based initiatives

• Undertaking any other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, Sociology or any other related field
• Availability of own car
• Two to three years of experience
• English and Arabic language skills are a must
• Experience in Microsoft office is a must
• A clean Criminal Record Statement is a must
