Strategic Fundraising Consultant

Job Summary

Responsible for providing Strategic Fundraising training for local groups from different areas in North Lebanon & Akkar governorates under the Mechanism for stability and local development project.

Experience and Needed Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic fundraising and grant writing.
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the social and economic context of North Lebanon and Akkar governorates.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with local groups or community-based organizations.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
  • Flexible time-durations.
  • Proposing a work plan with a timeline indicating that the survey and report will be completed within 2 months

 

Responsibilities And Obligations:

  • Training Development: Design a one-day training program that covers the fundamental principles of strategic fundraising, including planning, implementation, and donor engagement.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate the one-day training session for local group members, ensuring they understand the core concepts and strategies for effective fundraising.
  • Fundraising Planning: Provide guidance on developing fundraising plans tailored to the specific needs and objectives of local groups.
  • Donor Engagement: Offer insights and practical tips on building and maintaining relationships with potential donors.
  • Interactive Learning: Create an engaging learning environment, using case studies and interactive activities to enhance participants' understanding and retention of the training content.
  • Question and Answer Session: Encourage participants to ask questions and provide clarifications to ensure a comprehensive understanding of strategic fundraising principles.
  • Preparing a detailed final report on the training outcomes and providing recommendations for ongoing support.

Please submit your technical and financial proposal to undertake the above activities by sending an email to hr.shift@shiftsih.org
The Consultant should submit a detailed proposal with the following components:

a) Technical proposal to include:

•Outline for the Consultants’ understanding of the TOR and the proposed methodology to conduct the assignment, including techniques and tools to be used;

•A timeframe for the proposed activities

•Copy of the CV;

•List of previous clients for similar jobs;

•Copy of ID or passport

b) Financial proposal detailing the following:

•Detailed consultant’s fees and costs - consultant should indicate professional daily rate or sessions rate including all costs to be invoiced

•Provide proof of Ministry of Finance registration (Fiscal number)

In case the consultant cannot provide proof of MOF registration, 7.5% will be deducted from the proposed daily rate.
