Field Officer

SHiFT is a social innovation hub leading the transformation of post-conflict and/or marginalized zones towards peaceful and prosperous communities. We bring people together and bridge differences through building capacities, raising awareness, creating opportunities, promoting success models and mentoring. SHiFT has a community-center on one of the former frontlines in Tripoli. The center currently provides a neutral space where people can meet and mobilize over shared causes, use incubation services or attend one of SHiFT’s training programs, and try to deal with the unsettled past. Our main programs are: Tasaloh (Reconciliation) program; Tatweer (Development) program; and Tamteen (Empowerment) program.

The field officer will report to the project coordinator and project management as he will work closely with the M&E officer and the project assistant and the main role will be:

• Mapping the areas of intervention
• Identification of the target group
• Identification key actors in the target areas. 
• Introduce the project to the community and follow up on the recruitment of the beneficiaries. 
• Conduct profiling and registration for the beneficiary in collaboration with the M&E team. 
• Follow up and Maintain a good relationship with the target beneficiaries. 
• Make sure all beneficiaries are connected to the internet (send them 4G). 
• Mentoring and coaching the beneficiaries in implementing their community-based projects.

• Demonstrate experience of field officer.
• Proficient in relevant data storage.

• Experience in Violent extremism programs is a plus.
