Shadda Media Lab is a media platform and a shared working space for media producers in Tripoli. 

Shadda was established at Shift Social Innovation Hub with the contribution of a group of youth, with the aim of promoting peace and positivity through informative, entertaining, and realistic content. The first phase of the project was to build relations and cohesion among local communities and to enable individuals through communication and participation in creating meaningful media content. Shadda is the first media lab to offer its services directly to marginalized communities in Tripoli areas. Shadda also provides a safe space for workshop and content creation, in addition to providing the basic equipment for content creation for every young man and woman with the passion to create meaningful innovative content. 

Job Description

We are looking for a professional and creative music consultant to provide 8 technical music sessions for a group of 12 local artists and content creators over 1 month. In this period, the focus of the consultant will be on providing the basics technics in composing, recording and producing music for a group of artists and content creators to support them in producing two songs with video clips for their social media campaign.

The targeted group will be a team of content creators, young singers and musicians with a very good experience and different cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

• Support the trainees in Composing and recording two songs for their social media campaign.
• Conduct technical music session for the team throughout the project implementation.
• Follow up with the mentor on the content for the session.
• Provide periodic reports and feedback to the coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Certifications and experience in music production or related field
• Strong facilitation and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven experience as an art director
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Conflict/ gender Sensitivity Training is an Asset
• Experience in designing training modules
• Excellent social and personal relationships
• Excellent in English and Arabic.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in similar specialization
• Excellent working knowledge of Music composing, recording and producing
• Excessive experience on social media platforms

Fees:

40 $ per working day - 4 hours.

Duration:

8 days during 2 Months form 15 October 2021 to 4 December 2021.
