Call for Trainers: Voices Uncovered Regional Fellowship

Voices Uncovered Regional Fellowship is looking for an experienced media trainer to lead a flagship program empowering journalists and content creators to challenge gender-related taboos and strengthen a sustainable feminist media ecosystem in the MENA region.

We welcome applications from either a single trainer or two trainers wishing to collaborate and co-deliver the program.

About the Role
The selected trainer(s) will design and deliver two complementary training tracks:

Cohort 1 – In-Person (Lebanon)
A 3-day intensive workshop in Lebanon for journalists and content creators residing in Lebanon.

Cohort 2 – Online (Regional)
A virtual training series (3–6 sessions) for journalists and content creators from Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Egypt.
Content will mirror the in-person training, adapted for an engaging online experience.

The trainer(s) will also join a joint online kickoff meeting for both cohorts.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver interactive, participatory sessions for both formats.
Prepare engaging presentations, tailored exercises, and practical learning materials.
Develop a needs assessment and pre-/post-training tests to track learning outcomes.
Provide a comprehensive guide to all tools used during the training.
Ensure smooth participant access to all resources during and after the program.
Submit a post-training report summarizing content, progress, and impact.

Required Qualifications
Proven track record in training journalists/content creators, ideally on feminist or gender-focused media.
Strong facilitation skills for both in-person and online settings.
Ability to design hands-on, interactive training modules.
Familiarity with digital media tools, collaborative platforms, and cross-border learning.
Experience engaging diverse participants across the MENA region is a plus.

Timeline: Training delivery planned for September 2025.
Location: Beirut, Lebanon (in-person) + Online (regional).
