Devops Assistant Engineer

Role

The Devops engineer will be heavily involved in setup, management and monitoring of infrastructure, in automation, integration, code validation, and other systems-related tasks. He/She will be linking with various team members and clients across projects and producing documentation as his work progresses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with the various software engineering teams and with clients
• Set up, manage, monitor vmware infrastructure
• Implement CI/CD processes using Github to automate development process
• Strive for continuous improvement by building continuous integration, continuous development, and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Review, verify, and validate the source code developed in the project to ensure best security practices are implemented
• Automate and improve the development and the release process
• Create the required infrastructure and development environments using Ansible
• Stay curious and up to date with the latest industry trends in DevOps technologies
• Document all development steps

Requirements

• Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Delivery oriented person and multi-tasking person
